About Us

Israel My Way - Customized Tours (IMW), was founded in 2007 in Haifa, Israel.

We design and operate customized tours that allow groups, families, individuals and business people with similar interests to discover Israel in their own time, at their own pace, and in their own style.

At IMW we are proud for being experts in just one thing: customized tours in Israel. We make sure that each of our clients receives the best, individual and personal care they deserve. Each itinerary is tailor-made to meet each client's wishes and preferences. Each and every day of their visit is full of unique activities and meetings with Israelis from all walks of life. As part of our policy to provide clients with only the best, so that each visit is perfect, IMW uses only the best, the most experienced and the most sought after guides in the country.

Yoav Gal, Founder and General Manager:

Yoav Gal, 42, along with other activities, had been a tour guide and organizer in Israel for 15 years before he decided to devote all of his time to his passion, and founded Israel My Way. Yoav's vision has made Israel My Way unique in Israel's tour industry and each tour, long or short, whether to Jerusalem, the Galilee or the Negev is meticulously planned and coordinated down to the smallest of details. Each and every tour carries the stamp of Yoav's love for and attachment to this land.

Ofer Ketter, Director of Diving Safaris Department

Ofer, 34, has over 15 years of experience as a scuba diver, technical diving instructor, and underwater photographer. He is also a licensed Ministry of Tourism guide. With over 6,000 dives to his credit, Ofer knows the ins and outs of every dive site in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea. Ofer is a certified TDI, PADI and CMAS instructor as well as a licensed submersible pilot to a depth of 1,500 feet (457 meters). Ofer has worked on numerous underwater photography projects with National Geographic, the BBC, Animal Planet and more.

Eric Tomer, Director of Marketing - French speaking clients

Eric was born in Israel, and is married with 3 children. He served in the Israeli army and in the Prime Minister's office for over 25 years before becoming a tour guide. He loves Israel, and especially loves sharing the beauty of it with visitors. Eric is a warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable guide, so don't hesitate to ask him questions about anything.

Orit Meiron-Rapaport, Tour Coordinator

Orit was born in Israel, and besides being a certified travel agent, she graduated the Tadmor hotel school, as well as the Tourism School at the Haifa University. She lives in a beautiful small village in the mountains of Galilee, is married with 3 children, and in love with hiking the country, music, cinema and theater.
